Andrew L. Gradman is a transactional tax attorney focusing on the tax dimensions of business transactions rather than tax preparation or audit. His clients include attorneys who need tax input on deal structures, CPAs who need guidance on complex tax events, and businesses and individuals with discrete planning questions.

Andrew holds a JD from Columbia Law School, an LLM in Taxation from NYU School of Law, and a BA from Stanford University. Before focusing on tax, he served as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Eastern District of California, prosecuting federal felonies and misdemeanors, and as a law clerk and staff attorney for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He is a Certified Tax Specialist — the California Board of Legal Specialization’s highest designation in tax law.
