Peter Roussak advises clients on corporate and commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, securities compliance, intellectual property, and general counsel matters. His practice draws on more than 40 years of experience across private law firm practice, in-house legal and executive roles, and co-founding several operating companies.

Peter began his career at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and Irell & Manella in Los Angeles, where he practiced corporate securities and M&A law representing private equity clients including Leonard Green & Partners and Investcorp. He subsequently served as SVP and General Counsel of Thrifty PayLess, Inc., a $4.5 billion retail chain, where he led the company’s $1.2 billion sale to Payless Drugs. As co-founder, Managing Director, and General Counsel of Mandeville Partners, a Los Angeles-based merchant bank, he led a consolidation of the Argentine cable television industry — completing 65 acquisitions with $500 million in combined financing. He later served as General Counsel of Interlink Electronics (NASDAQ: LINK), where he handled M&A, capital markets, and commercial transactions. He also currently serves as EVP of IP Securitized Corporation, which provides consulting in connection with litigation funding and IP monetization.
